MESA 5I20 FPGA based PCI Anything I/O cardMesa (Mesa Electronics) specializes in interface products for a general and/or specific purpose like control machine tools, robots, or other automated devices that interfaces your PC to your worldMesa (Mesa Electronics) specializes in interface products for a general and/or specific purpose like control machine tools, robots, or other automated devices that interface your PC to "your world" (e.g. CNC machine). For example, MesaMesa manufactures various cards FPGA' based. For GNU/Linux, project EMC2 supports Mesa Anything I/O FPGA cardsMesa Anything I/O FPGA cards series card; they are programmable I/O boards for the PCI bus and PC/104. All the PCI, PC/104-PLUS Bus, and EPP AnyIO boards supported are:

  • MESA 7I43, a low cost, general purpose programmable I/O card that connects to the host computer via USB or PC parallel port. The 7I43 uses a 200K or 400K gate Xilinx FPGA for all logic, so it is truly an Anything I/O card. The FPGA is downloadable from the USB or Parallel port bus side, and also has the capability of local configuration storage in an on card EEPROM;
  • MESA 5I20, a general purpose programmable I/O card for the PCI bus. The 5I20 uses a 200K gate Xilinx FPGA for all logic (72 I/O pins);
  • MESA 5I22, a general purpose programmable I/O card for the PCI bus. The 5I22 uses a 1 or 1.5M gate Xilinx FPGA for all logic (96 I/O pins);
  • MESA 5I23, a general purpose programmable I/O card for the PCI bus. The 5I23 uses a 400K gate Xilinx FPGA for all logic (72 I/O pins);
  • MESA 4I65, a general purpose programmable I/O card for the PC/104-PLUS bus. The 4I65 uses a 200K gate Xilinx FPGA for all logic (72 I/O pins);
  • MESA 4I68, a general purpose programmable I/O card for the PCI bus. The 4I68 uses a 400K gate Xilinx Spartan3 FPGA for all logic (72 I/O pins).
